1 mL aliquot of serum or plasma; minimum 0.25 mL. Please submit a separate frozen aliquot for this test. It may not be combined with any other test requiring a frozen aliquot. |

Specimen Processing Instructions: |
Serum: Allow to clot. Serum or plasma: Centrifuge 10 minutes at 3000 rpm. 1 mL aliquot of serum or plasma. |
Transport temperature: |
Frozen. Do not submit in glass tubes. |
Specimen stability: |
Room temperature: 4 days. Refrigerated: 4 days. Frozen: 4 weeks. |
Rejection criteria: |
Stability limits exceeded. Serum separator tubes not acceptable. |
