Fasting is preferred but not required. |
Specimen Processing Instructions: |
Allow to serum to clot. Centrifuge serum or plasma 1100-2000g for 10 minutes. Seperate from cells immediately. |

Specimen stability: |
Refrigerated: 5 days. Frozen: 3 weeks. |
Rejection criteria: |
Grossly hemolyzed,lipemic or samples containing particulate material. Stability limits exceeded. |
