Allow serum to clot. Centrifuge serum or plasma 10 minutes at 3000 rpm. 1 mL serum or plasma.

 Room temperature.
Specimen stability:
 Room Temperature: 14 days. Refrigerated: 14 days. Frozen: 12 months (-20°C).
Rejection criteria:
 The use of a serum separator (SS) tube is not acceptable. Submission of a serum separator tube will result in specimen rejection.
