Led by Dr. Fan Lin, Geisinger Medical Laboratories' renal pathologists, provide expert diagnostic evaluation of native and transplant kidney biopsy specimens. Our experienced pathologists deliver accurate diagnoses with clinicopathologic correlation. Twenty-four hours is usual for transplant biopsies; forty-eight for native biopsies with immunofluorescent studies and electron microscopy. Drs. Lin, Mescther and Prichard encourage personal consultations with clinicians, often calling to discuss cases.
